It was a very busy week for A Child’s Light, ‘CLICK your Knitting Needles Together’ effort.  We've received messages via Facebook and email correspondences from people who have volunteered to knit and/or crochet the infant caps.  Some of the people who contacted us came as referrals from other people.

The most exciting news of the week came from our friends at Lowell General Hospital: 

• LGH has agreed to ENDORSE the ‘CLICK your Knitting Needles Together’ effort.

• LGH will be accepting yarn donations at the hospital to help defray the cost to those who will be knitting and/or crocheting.

• LGH contacted the Massachusetts Perinatal Team, which is the nursing leadership for the entire State of Massachusetts, and they want to be involved in the project.

• LGH contacted the Massachusetts Department of Public Health – Department of Infant Mortality, and they want to be involved in the project.
